At SelectEV, we strive to ensure that every product you purchase meets your expectations. If you are not fully satisfied with your order, you may be eligible to request a return or refund in accordance with the terms below.
You may request a return if:
The item received is damaged, defective, or not as described
The item is incorrect (wrong product, model, or quantity)
The return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery
Important: Some items (such as high-voltage batteries, custom-built motors, or clearance items) may be non-returnable. This will be indicated on the product page.
To be eligible for a return:
The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging
All accessories, manuals, and tags must be included
A valid proof of purchase (invoice or order ID) must be provided
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be rejected or subject to a restocking fee.
Go to “My Orders” in the SelectEV app or website
Click “Request Return” next to the relevant order
Provide reason, upload photos (if applicable), and submit your request
Wait for approval — most requests are reviewed within 48 hours
Upon approval, you’ll receive return shipping instructions.
For defective or incorrect items: Return shipping is free
For other reasons (e.g., changed mind): Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs
Use a trackable courier service and retain the receipt until the refund is processed
Once the returned item is received and inspected:
Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days
Refunds are issued to the original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, wallet, etc.)
In case of delayed refunds, contact your bank/payment provider for processing timelines.
If you prefer a replacement rather than a refund:
Request it during the return process
Replacement depends on stock availability
If the replacement is unavailable, a full refund will be issued
The following are not eligible for return:
Used or installed EV parts
Downloadable software or digital products
Items marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”
Perishable or hazardous goods (e.g., certain batteries)
